Back on track...

Well.... it's surely been a while.  Life sort of turned upside down.   And, well, hey... it happens.   But here I am and I'm back on track.

Last weekend was really nice.  As hard as it was to leave the baby it was SOOO nice to get out of town, go on a cruise and just be carefree for 4 days.

Although I was on the cruise and wasn't watching what I ate, I found that I never really wanted to eat that much at one time.   I was also very proud of the 4 of us... we NEVER used an elevator the entire time we were on the ship.  Sleeping on the 2nd deck and everything else being on decks 11- 14 made for quite a bit of exercise.  Overall it was a good experience and we came back feeling rested up and ready to restart the healthy living and get in good shape and geared up for the Christmas season.

In light of being ready to get back on track Nate and I began the 10 day cleanse yesterday.  I know... when you hear the word cleanse it makes you cringe, but this one is different.  It's by no means easy, but it's not as brutal as the other cleanses I've done.

Days 1 and 2 have gone really well.  Nate is down 4 lbs and I'm down 2.  Both days started with a fiber drink.  Eating lots of fruit and veggies, some while grains, baked chicken, and a few sparks during the day.

We did both have a headache today and we are hoping that goes away tomorrow...

So far even though it's a challenge we are enjoying the journey and excited for how great we will feel in 8 days.

Another smile on my face.

So.  Thursday after recovering from being VERY sick Tuesday and Wednesday I got on the scale and was disappointed in the results.  You see... the 24 day challenge was amazing and I am still losing inches but for some reason I have been stuck at this certain number and unable to drop to the next set of 10's see 1#0.2 is the lowest that I've been able to go  (Yes I'm still too embarrassed to share my real weight.... )  So Thursday I made a resolution that I was going to get back on track, I was going to eat healthy things and continue on my MNS packs, spark and Catalyst and this morning as I woke up and stepped on the scale and saw 1#9.6!! I'm down into the next set of 10 which makes me 39.6lbs away from my goal.  You see.... it's hard to make wise and healthy decisions when a giant piece of chocolate cake is in your hands but.... When you make a wise choice and take care of your body you realize it's all worth it when you easily slip into your "dream size" pair of jeans, or when you step on the scale and realize even just a tiny bit of progress has been made.  The desire is there, all you need is the motivation and the will power to continue on your journey to looking good and feeling GREAT!

Thanks for following, and if you are on your own journey let me know your progress and check in periodically I hope I can help motivate you towards your goal and you can do the same =0)

If you're interested in the boost of energy and the help that my body needed to get up and get kickin' head over to advocare.com/110912621 and take a look at all the great products offered.  Let me know if you have any questions =0)

It's been a while....

I know it's been a while since I last wrote in here.  Life kind of got a little crazy.  Anyway here's the quick update....

The 24 day challenge has been over for about a week now and I lost a total of 10 lbs.  That is somewhat exciting but... what is really exciting to me is the inches I lost... I don't know exactly how much it was yet (we are measuring tonight) but you know that feeling when you put on a pair of pants that have been so tight for so long you tucked them in the back of your closet and.... they are lose on you?  Yup that's the feeling I had this week.  I put some cloths on that I haven't worn since before Ava was born and they were lose!  I'm still not in my smallest cloths that I wore when we got married, but I'm more motivated to keep going since I have seen results.

Another exciting moment this week was that people started asking about me losing weight and telling me that they can tell and that I look like I feel better.  It's so nice for people to notice the results of my hard work.

So... as of right now I'm 40 lbs down from when I came home from the hospital from having Ava and I have 40 lbs to go.

The gameplan?  I am still on the catalyst from Advocare and believe that it is really helping me lose the inches.  I'm also totally addicted to the Spark!   I love the feeling of having energy without jitters and without a crash a few hours later, it is just a subtle energy that makes me feel good.  And this week I reordered the vitamin packets.  Even though it is a lot of pills to take I feel so good on them and feel like I have so much energy that it's worth it.

It is a challenge to maintain eating well, however the results are great motivation.  I am sooo excited to continue my journey and to just feel better and better!

Thanks so much for following.  Tomorrow I'll post my total inches lost during the challenge =0)
