1/3 of the way there =0)

Where has the time gone.  The last 4 days have been a blur.  Between spending time with the baby and my husband, and going to Advocare trainings and helping Nate promote events it has been a crazy 4 days.  Sorry for not checking in....

So today was day 20 of insanity!  1/3 of the way there.  I am amazed how it is changing my body like I never imagined and how good it is making me feel.  While doing the workouts of course I'm not saying that.  I'm usually cursing the tv in my mind and saying I hate every moment of it.  Thanks to my Spark and Rehydrate I have the energy to get through the workout.

Spring Chick Callengers here is a quick update

1. I have done FANTASTIC on my goal of  working out and not missing an insanity.  We did skip cardio recovery Saturday but it was a much needed break.

2. I haven't reached my NSV of going down 2 pant sizes but my cloths are definitely fitting better=0)

3. I have been drinking my water

4. I have been MUCH better at taking my supplements on time.  I can't wait to get my MNS C in the mail so I can start back up on my strip pack.  It is amazing how much of a difference putting in supplements to fill your nutritional gaps can make you feel.  I didn't really notice it until I wasn't taking them regularly.  Yay for being healthy.

5.  I've been visiting most of your blogs I just haven't commented on them in a while... I promise I will get better at it this week.

6.  I started a Bible reading plan to read my Bible in a year and I have done great at staying on top of that.

Overall I am kind of on a mountain right now and trying to stay there.  I know there will be valleys and I will get through them.  Keep up the good work everyone and stay motivated.

Back on track...

Well.... it's surely been a while.  Life sort of turned upside down.   And, well, hey... it happens.   But here I am and I'm back on track.

Last weekend was really nice.  As hard as it was to leave the baby it was SOOO nice to get out of town, go on a cruise and just be carefree for 4 days.

Although I was on the cruise and wasn't watching what I ate, I found that I never really wanted to eat that much at one time.   I was also very proud of the 4 of us... we NEVER used an elevator the entire time we were on the ship.  Sleeping on the 2nd deck and everything else being on decks 11- 14 made for quite a bit of exercise.  Overall it was a good experience and we came back feeling rested up and ready to restart the healthy living and get in good shape and geared up for the Christmas season.

In light of being ready to get back on track Nate and I began the 10 day cleanse yesterday.  I know... when you hear the word cleanse it makes you cringe, but this one is different.  It's by no means easy, but it's not as brutal as the other cleanses I've done.

Days 1 and 2 have gone really well.  Nate is down 4 lbs and I'm down 2.  Both days started with a fiber drink.  Eating lots of fruit and veggies, some while grains, baked chicken, and a few sparks during the day.

We did both have a headache today and we are hoping that goes away tomorrow...

So far even though it's a challenge we are enjoying the journey and excited for how great we will feel in 8 days.

So my question for you today is.... Another smile on my face.

So.  Thursday after recovering from being VERY sick Tuesday and Wednesday I got on the scale and was disappointed in the results.  You see... the 24 day challenge was amazing and I am still losing inches but for some reason I have been stuck at this certain number and unable to drop to the next set of 10's see 1#0.2 is the lowest that I've been able to go  (Yes I'm still too embarrassed to share my real weight.... )  So Thursday I made a resolution that I was going to get back on track, I was going to eat healthy things and continue on my MNS packs, spark and Catalyst and this morning as I woke up and stepped on the scale and saw 1#9.6!! I'm down into the next set of 10 which makes me 39.6lbs away from my goal.  You see.... it's hard to make wise and healthy decisions when a giant piece of chocolate cake is in your hands but.... When you make a wise choice and take care of your body you realize it's all worth it when you easily slip into your "dream size" pair of jeans, or when you step on the scale and realize even just a tiny bit of progress has been made.  The desire is there, all you need is the motivation and the will power to continue on your journey to looking good and feeling GREAT!

Thanks for following, and if you are on your own journey let me know your progress and check in periodically I hope I can help motivate you towards your goal and you can do the same =0)

Back to running

This morning I did my first attempt at a long run in about two weeks.  We are running a mini in 3 weeks and I am sooooo far behind in my training.  As I started it was amazing the difference in my energy level and also in how much longer I could run without my muscles getting fatigued.  Some spark, catalyst, and a protein shake and I felt energetic... something I haven't felt during a run in a long time.  The next test is seeing how sore I am tomorrow when I attempt to run again.

I think it's really cool to see the difference in how good running feels when you are feeding your muscles all the right nutrients.

To be honest I feel great, however, this week got to me and I'm exhausted today... pretty sure there's no product, supplement, or food in the world that can overcome a really really busy week as a mom and a nurse and family parties and events...  So tonight... it's sleep and tomorrow will be a better day.  And hopefully a lighter day on the scale.

Today I'm down 7 lbs =0)  and yesterday I wore some jeans I haven't worn since before I was pregnant.  I'm really enjoying this journey!   Thanks for following.
